Please read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. This Privacy Policy relates to the information collection and use practices of Plan2Play in connection with our online services (the “Services”), which are made available to you through our website located at www.plan2play.com (the “Site”), and our mobile app (the “App”).

By registering with us or submitting personal data through our Services, you expressly consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. When you register with us, you are required to consent to our Privacy Policy. This consent provides us with a legal basis under applicable law to process your personal data. You maintain the right to withdraw such consent at any time.

Information We Collect

When you sign up to become a Registered User, you will be asked to provide us with certain personal information, such as your first name, last name, and email address. If you sign-in through Facebook Connect, LinkedIn, or Google, you are authorizing Plan2Play to collect, store, and use, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, any and all information that you agreed that Facebook, Inc. (“Facebook”), LinkedIn Corporation, or Google, Inc. would provide to Plan2Play through Facebook’s, LinkedIn’s, or Google’s Application Programming Interface (“API”). Such information may include, without limitation, your first and last name, Facebook, LinkedIn or Google username, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Google profile picture, headline, unique identifier and access token, and e-mail address. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to this information as “Personal Information.”

Through your use of our Services, we also collect country location, time zone, team name, sport type, and contact information of the members of your team. This information about your team will be associated with your information.

We may receive your information from third parties that provide services for us in connection with our Services, and Plan2Play may connect this information to your information that we already have.

Beyond the minimum information required to use our Services, we store data that you provide us for the Services. Examples include:

  1. Your contact information (e.g., phone number, physical address, etc.)
  2. Sports specific information (e.g., position, sports statistics, etc.)
  3. Schedule information (e.g., whether you plan to attend an upcoming event)
  4. Location information (e.g., your physical location at a given time)
  5. Device and software information (e.g., the type of mobile device and associated hardware and software information, the browser used to access our web service, etc.)

In order to use the App, we may, with your prior permission, collect geolocational information from your mobile device, your wireless carrier, or certain third-party service providers (“Geolocational Information”). Collection of such Geolocational Information occurs only when the App is running on your mobile device. You may decline to allow us to collect such Geolocational Information, in which case we will not be able to provide certain services to you. Because your Geolocational Information is subject to abuse by others, please be sure to manage your mobile device and privacy preferences on the App on an ongoing basis.

Like most web sites, we use automatic data collection technology when you visit the Site to record information that identifies your computer, to track your use of our Site, and to collect certain basic information about you and your surfing habits. This information includes information about your operating system, your IP addresses, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, keywords, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of a website you visit, and similar information concerning your use of the Site and the Service (the “Usage Information”). We may also use third-party analytics technology to track and collect anonymous traffic data, including, but not limited to, Usage Information about the use of the App. The third-party technology providers may have access to your information only for the purposes of performing these tasks and on behalf of us.

We collect this Usage Information by using cookies and pixel tags (also called web beacons or clear gifs). Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s hard drive so that your computer will “remember” information about your visit. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of web site users. You can reject cookies by following the directions provided in your Internet provider’s “help” file. If you do not accept our cookies, you may experience some inconvenience in your use of our Services. For example, we may not be able to recognize your computer or mobile device and you may need to log in every time you visit our Services.

We do not collect Personal Information in this way, but if you’ve provided us with Personal Information we may associate that information with the information that is collected automatically. Automatic data collection may be performed on our behalf by our services providers.

We may also allow third-party companies that are presenting advertisements on the Site and/or the App to set and access their own cookies. Such third-party cookies are not governed by this Privacy Policy, but by the privacy policies of such third party.

We track how users use our Sites and Services including what pages they visit and what actions they take. We track what types of devices you use to access our Sites and Services. We collect device attributes like operating system, screen size, browser, etc. We also track what networks you come from including your mobile operator, ISP, and location. For security purposes we also track device specific information such as your IP address and device specific identifiers such as IDFA.

If you choose to purchase any of our paid services, you will need to pay using a payment card (e.g., credit or debit card). We use third party payment card processing companies to process payments in connection with our Services. These third parties have committed to Plan2Play to process your payment card information in a secure, PCI compliant manner. Your payment card information is processed and retained by these third parties and will not be passed on to Plan2Play; Plan2Play does not store your payment card information.

In certain circumstances, you also may use Plan2Play to collect funds from other users. We may deduct a service fee from these fund transfers, but we will always spell out any applicable fees at the time of the transaction. In addition, we will not use payment information you have provided for fund transfers to charge you for other services. The fund transfers do not flow through Plan2Play and are accomplished using Stripe or another third party payment system, which is subject to separate terms with that third party (please review the section of this policy entitled “How We Share Your Information” below for more information).

We, like many businesses, sometimes hire other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples include mailing information, maintaining databases, hosting services, and processing payments. When we employ another company to perform a function of this nature, we provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function, which may include Personal Information. We require such third parties to maintain the confidentiality of such information and use such information only as necessary to provide us with designated services.

We may share some anonymous information (for example, your role as a coach or participant in the group with which you are involved or the sports or activities with which you are involved), as well as anonymous, aggregated demographic information. Third parties may collect [hashed] information through a variety of technologies (including cookies, web beacons, and device identifiers) on our websites, our apps, or emails we send you. While this information is anonymous, such third parties may be able to add such information to the information it already stores about you. Please review that third party’s privacy policy to understand how it uses such data. These third parties have committed to not include any of your information in these cookies. Plan2Play may share your email address with such third parties, solely in a hashed form that does not, in itself, identify you. To opt-out of these data provider cookies, please visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices or http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click on targeted ads meet the targeting criteria (for example, men ages 25-38 from a particular geographic area with an interest in sports). By interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will assume that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad. We also access your information from third parties to improve the Plan2Play Sites and Services. For example, we access information about your location, determined from your IP address or mobile device location information, to personalize your experience. We may use this information to provide you with weather or other information that pertains to your location.

We monitor the data to ensure that users are complying with our terms of service and to investigate suspicious behavior on our Sites and Services.

If we or all or substantially all of our assets are acquired, we expect that the information that we have collected, including Personal Information, would be transferred along with our other business assets.

We may disclose your Personal Information and Usage Information to government authorities, and to other third parties when compelled to do so by government authorities, at our discretion, or otherwise as required by law, including but not limited to in response to court orders and subpoenas. We also may disclose your Personal Information and Usage Information when we have reason to believe that someone is or may be causing injury to or interference with our rights or property, other users of this Site, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
